In mid-January, we’re already starting to feel the ever-so-slight increase in daylight. When strolling the neighborhood after work, it’s already dark outside. The camera’s limited low-light performance poses a challenge for the project. I’ll have to rely on artificial lighting to render the point of interest I captured visible. Today’s detail is the sculpture “Der Blaue Brunnen” (The Blue Fountain), standing on the square next to the urban retirement quarters “Dorflinde”. One side is – thankfully – clearly illuminated. Its white and blue surface creates a stark contrast to the orange buildings around it (not pictured 😅).
