Today I revisited the mosaic wall cladding in the pedestrian underpass near the autobahn interchange. Very 70s in spirit, bold geometric sections of orange, red, and dark grey, are broken into irregular fragments. The dusky sky was turning increasingly reddish, and I wanted to let the Charmera take advantage of it. It worked out. I’m also glad I chose this particular section – the way the colors sweep into each other bridges the gap between geometric shapes and organic colors
