The hottest day of the year (so far?!) certainly lived up to its reputation. Even though I took public transportation instead of riding my bike and avoided the glaring midday sun, my cane ended up being more than a “just in case” precaution. After an exhausting physical therapy session, it became an essential stability aid on the way home.
The heat didn’t just sap my energy – my cog fog was in full force at times, too.
