Today marks six months minus one day since my clavicle fracture. Almost half a year has passed since that morning when a pedestrian suddenly turned around and walked straight into me while I was riding to my biweekly physical therapy session.

Being incapacitated for at least a month revealed how easily simple things are taken for granted. I’m endlessly grateful for the unwavering support of my partner — I wouldn’t have been able to lead a relatively everyday life without her. ❤️

I’ve started easing back into my twice-weekly rowing sessions. From an almost non-existent drag factor and roughly eight minutes of actual rowing, I completed my first run today with a 500 m pace below three minutes.
I’m proud of what I’ve achieved and deeply appreciative of the support I receive day by day.
