Following up on my rowing routine, which is not just an aerobic workout, it also supports shoulder rehabilitation after my fracture, I had to be mindful not to overexert myself. Recent events meant I missed a second session last week.
Still, I couldn’t resist increasing the drag factor slightly, while keeping the stroke rate steady at 20 strokes per minute. As I approached 2 kilometers, my pace dipped above 3 minutes per 500 meters, so I decided to stop there rather than push on to the planned 2.5 kilometers.
A completed task is a win. Finishing this session feels like a success – especially knowing that I’m already looking forward to the next one. 🙂
