I did my usual neighborhood loop, down to the Autobahn underpass, to get the steps in.
Tonight’s new moon was the first opportunity in a long time where I could properly run my astro setup.
Rough alignment took a bit of patience: The tripod, and to a lesser extent the tracker, kept messing with my compass needle.
Still, the test shots looked promising.
Let’s see if I actually hit the target.
