We couldn’t have come to Alberobello only for the GroundUp Festival. We therefore walked to its historic center after picking up our panino lunch.
The scorching sun and 33°C temperatures made the walk rather treacherous, and I had to take a break every couple of meters. I still managed to capture a few of the town’s iconic trulli along the way.
A cold shower improved my condition considerably after we returned to our apartment.
